What is your role at Mid-Cape? Administrative Assistant

What lead you to a career with Mid-Cape? I wanted work for a company with a common direction and goal. Mid-Cape was looking for an assistant, I applied, and the overall needs of both myself and the company were in common; and so, here I am.

Describe Mid-Cape in three words: Respect, Service, Quality

What is your biggest accomplishment at Mid-Cape so far?  All progressive companies have people who are “in the weeds” from time to time. It’s a pleasure to be able to help with that in different departments.

What is something working at Mid-Cape has taught you? The depth in lumber from tree harvesting, to milling, trucking, storing, sale to delivery is complex and consistently changing. There are many things that effect supply and price.

So far, what has been your favorite memory at Mid-Cape? I don’t have a particular memory; the culture is outstanding. It’s a pleasure to come here every day.

What does the Mid-Cape Experience mean to you? The environment has positivity; where the people are working to do-the-right-thing for the client, the company and you. A welcome change.

What’s the greatest bit of advice a Mid-Cape team member has ever given you? “Ask questions! Own your mistakes. Move on.” ~ Rich Grout said it first and 2 hours later Andy Shakliks repeated it.

What is one important skill every person should have? Be communicative but listen more than you speak.

What is one of the things on your bucket list? Visit the Holy Land and Hogwarts (had to give you two based on the disparity).
