What is your education and experience?

Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Endicott College, including an internship at the Boston Design Center.

How many years have you worked in Kitchen & Bath Design?

Over 20 years in the Kitchen & Bath Department, all at Mid-Cape Home Centers.

What year did you start at Mid-Cape?

June of 2000 working in the flooring department and on the sales desk during summers and weekends while still in college.

After I graduated, I left in June of 2002 to work for a furniture company doing interior design work.

I returned to Mid-Cape in October of 2002 to pursue Kitchen & Bath Design.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I love creating something new every day and, with that, the satisfaction of the clients when they tell you that they love their new space.  The quote, “If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life” frequently comes to mind as it is so true.

What can customers look forward to when working with you?

A designer who is dedicated to their project from beginning to end, starting with the initial design process all the way through to the punch list items.

What does “Experience that Builds” mean to you?

My relationships with my contractors.  In the 20+ years of designing I have built up a great contractor referral base, and without them I wouldn’t be where I am today.  Since I work only with contractors and their clients, I have to have a close relationship with them where they can trust me to meet with their clients and not have to worry about it. I take pride in knowing that they feel that way about me.

Anything else you would like to add or would like customers to know about you?

I am a native Cape Codder born and raised, living and working in the town that I grew up in!
