What is your role at Mid-Cape? Kitchen and Bath Designer on Martha’s Vineyard
What led you to a career with Mid-Cape? I have a degree in architecture and worked in that field for over a decade. After the recession I moved to the Vineyard and decided to try my hand at kitchen design, which is the part I loved most of any project. Just when I felt I had grown as much as I could at my old job, the opportunity to join the team at Mid-Cape arose and here I am.

So far, what has been your favorite memory at Mid-Cape? I love the rare opportunities to get to know and socialize with my coworkers who are normally so far away, like taking classes off-island or attending Mid-Cape social events.
What does the Mid-Cape Experience mean to you? It means being supported so I can be the best Kitchen Designer possible.
What’s the greatest bit of advice a Mid-Cape team member has ever given you? Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
What is one important skill every person should have? The ability to empathize can’t be overstated. If you understand where your customer is coming from, it is easier to manage expectations up front, but also to navigate through issues if problems arise.
