What led you to a career with Mid-Cape? I have been going to Mid-Cape with my dad since I was a kid. I decided it would be a cool place to work.
Describe Mid-Cape in three words: Fun, Challenging, and Rewarding
What is your biggest accomplishment at Mid-Cape so far? Becoming the yard foreman for Wellfleet, the first time, was a huge accomplishment for me.
What is something working at Mid-Cape has taught you? Working in Wellfleet has taught me to be a better forklift operator. The yard in Wellfleet is so small you can’t afford to be sloppy.
So far, what has been your favorite memory at Mid-Cape? My first summer in Wellfleet as the yard foreman was awesome.
What does the Mid-Cape Experience mean to you? For me, it means an upbeat staff who are actively trying to make our customers feel appreciated and getting them everything they need.
What’s the greatest bit of advice a Mid-Cape team member has ever given you? Slow down. Just because a job can be done fast does not mean it should be. Slow down and make sure every piece of the job is correct.
What is one important skill every person should have? Listening comprehension. Many contractors have different names for products, so you have to listen carefully to what they want and get them what they need.
What is one of the things on your bucket list? I would love to take a tour of Scotland and visit Stonehenge.
