Mid-Cape Home Centers is passionate about their team members and seeing them grow to success. Mid-Cape’s investment in the quality of training and skill development of team members has many aspects. The company is dedicated to developing talent through succession planning, coaching, and management training. At Mid-Cape, there is an aim to maintain a culture that encourages consistent learning experiences for all employees, whether they have been with the company one day or one decade.

In support of the company’s efforts to perpetuate a learning environment in the workplace, the Mid-Cape team is proud to announce that they have been awarded the Workforce Training Fund General Program Training Grant by the Baker-Polito Administration. This will be in partnership with the Cape Cod Community College Center for Corporate and Professional Education. Mid-Cape has seen a tremendous amount of growth in the last few years and, as a result, is looking to hire talented people locally, as well as promoting employees from within to meet the needs of the business. As the company is growing, Mid-Cape is dedicated to growing the skills of its team members. Mid-Cape Home Centers wishes to expand its training opportunities to allow them to employ people for an entry-level position who have just graduated high school, for example, and to eventually, through maintaining an environment of continuous learning, promote them to higher-level positions within the company.

As a result of this grant, Mid-Cape will be able to reach out to, and mentor, even more young people within our local community. Above are members of our team, in a photo taken at the HBRACC’s Annual Residential Construction Career Day, who are passionate about growing the knowledge and experience of today’s youth, preparing them to be the leaders of tomorrow.
