Sgt. Sean M. Gannon of the Yarmouth Police Department lost his life in the line of duty on April 12th, 2018. He exemplified so many of the traits of our selfless first responders here locally. Sean cared deeply for his loved ones and our community. He was dedicated to his work and leading by example.

100% of proceeds from the First Responder Appreciation Day, presented by Mid-Cape Home Centers, are donated to The Sean M. Gannon Memorial Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation. This fund was created in Sean’s honor to provide support for first responders through “education, health, and leadership by encouraging service through action.” Sean was an inspiration to so many in our local community and this fund continues his legacy by supporting those who are following his example. Thanks to the support and generosity of our local community, Mid-Cape Home Centers has been able to raise over $50,000 for local first responders, through various fundraising efforts over the last several years.
