A self-adhering, synthetic underlayment installed first as the base, CertainTeed RoofRunner® is compatible with most asphalt roofing shingles. Water, wind and slip-resistance, coupled with ease of installation and cost effectiveness make it a top choice for local roofers and homeowners in the Northeast. Roofers can install RoofRunner® using standard roofing nails, it is light and easily handled. A blend of CertainTeed asphalts and polymers come together to protect against uplift and blow-off from high winds, as well as preventing moisture from making its way through.
